Description
Rimauresq in the heart of Provence takes its name from Real Mauresque river which flows through the vineyards. Due to its unique microclimate and terroir, Rimauresq is one of a select group of Côtes de Provence vineyards awarded 1er Cru Classé status in 1955, a classification mirroring that of the great Bordeaux châteaux and based on the quality of the wines and heritage of the properties.
A beautiful blend of Cinsaut 39%, Grenache 37%, Mourvèdre 7%, Tibouren 6%, Carignan 5%, Syrah 4% & Cabernet Sauvignon 2%. A staple of Provence, the R de Rimauresq wine is a serious rosé with delicate floral, strawberry fruit characters and a fresh dry finish. The aroma is smoky and reductive at first, savoury and understated on the palate, very dry and subtle with elegance and line. Light, clear, with a mineral character, this wine surprises with its delicacy and aromatic subtlety.
“Floral aromas combine with apricot and crushed stone on the nose. The palate is loaded with citrus pith and white pepper with little hints of stone fruit.” 90 Points, Wine Enthusiast, Jan 2026
