He writes: Bright colour; elegant, light-bodied style with Bordeaux overtones; it is deceptive, for the sweet red berry fruits are not immediately obvious, but come up on retasting; the tannins are gossamer fine, the finish long. Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Petit Verdot/Cabernet. 94 points James Halliday."

The Sons of Eden Remus Shiraz 2005 has big cellaring potential, or give it a good decant for a few hours to enjoy it now. This is my favourite Sons of Eden wine because of its iron fist in a velvet glove character!
