This is a good wine from a tough, wet year and a wine with recent form – the Bellarine pinot was my favourite of Scotchman’s releases last year. Perfumed cherry, plum and smoky oak aromas along with complex earthy beetroot, rhubarb, cranberry and black cherry flavours sit nicely with a smooth texture and fine grip. It has length to burn, too”.
