Quality biodynamic producer Organic vineyard located south of Agrello (Uco Valley at 950 metres) in Mendoza. Owned by 3 friends from France, Austria and Switzerland. Rigorous fruit selection (88% malbec 12% cabernet sauvignon) followed by pre ferment & post ferment maceration. Alpamanta means ‘love to the earth” in the native Quechuan language which is a tribute to their respect and commitment to the vineyard. An exceptional growing season in 2012 delivered beautiful high quality, balanced fruit. Focus, detail is delightful in this elegant medium to full bodied malbec. Line, length ripe finely integrated tannins and gorgeous balance.
