Salsa is a Spanish word meaning sauce it must be winemaker Kym Teusner ‘s sauce! Made because of his particular aversion to many Aussie roses (often sweet and acidified to create zing!). A blend of 61% Grenache. 32% Mataro. 7% Shiraz grown specifically for rose.. that is grapes picked with plenty of natural acidity and freshness. cold soaked for 24 hours and fermented (dry style) and matured in old oak on lees to impart creamy texture to the wine. Made in the dry provencal style. Seriously good sauce the ultimate lunch wine.
