We are big fans of Juniper Estate Semillon 2010 and it is a world away from the unwooded classic style from the Hunter. James Halliday was intrigued by this vintage, rating it 95 points and saying…“Stylistically speaking, this is an unusual departure for this variety, with a strong oak aged influence providing a complex and intriguing blend of savoury grilled nut and charcuterie, nestled comfortably alongside fresh tropical fruits; long, unctuous, deep and compelling, with an electric mouthfeel; interesting and a great deal of pleasure, a wonderful combination.”
