Rhys is recently back from his field trip to Argentina where he caught up with Jed Wines winemaker Tom Egan. Great to revisit the Jed wines we range such as the Jed Sauvignon Blanc 2009 … it is typical of the fresh and vibrant white wines produced in the cool climate region of the Uco Valley. With a broad flavour spectrum (grassy to tropical) this sancerre inspired wine is great with food. 10% of the wine is matured in French oak (for texture) and Acacia (white flower aroma) for 6 months. Brilliant straw in colour. Concentrated fresh lime and tropical fruit with hints of pink grapefruit on the nose and palate with delicate mineral undertones. Zippy finish balanced by vibrant acidity.
