curly flat pinot noir 2006 gets 18 out of 20 from jancis robinson

Curly Flat Pinot Noir 2006 from the Macedon Ranges in Victoria was a top scorer with world renowned wine expert and writer Jancis Robinson, scoring it 18 out of 20.

Curly Flat were the “outstanding” producer during her visit in 2009 to Victoria’s wine regions.  Of the Curly Flat Pinot Noir 2006 she wrote: “Very exotic nose with immediate appeal. Already pretty complex. Lovely freshness and tension but strong mulberry flavours too. Great natural acidity. Heat early in the season. Second bottle: Even more vibrant nose. Real punchy racy stuff with lovely fruit and acidity. 18 points” Jancis Robinson.
