David Hook Old Vines Pothana Vineyards Belford Shiraz 2007 scored 94 points and a great review by Gary Walsh of The Wine Front.  He wrote:  “Slight hint of mixed peel but very earthy to smell along with the rich blackberry, pepper and creamy oak. Beautiful tannin work here – lush, powdery and smooth – a real highlight. Medium bodied with good length and an earthy finish. Regional and very good.“
